Day 200
Today's awesomeness is the wide variety of hiking trails located all over Saint Louis County. Saint Louis County is fortunate to have a great parks department that maintains a huge network of trails. I particularly enjoy exploring the Meramec River valley and I'm headed out that way with my dog this afternoon. So click over to the Saint Louis County Parks web site and then schedule some time to get out and enjoy God's creation!
Stay Awesome, St. Louis!!!

Day 197
Quick awesomosity (totally should have signed up someone for today. Dangit!) before I head out. Very basic, and not that awesome until you don't have it. Phone chargers.
I totally left mine at home, which means that I am totally leaving my phone here too. Not that I would use it in Haiti, but its like a security blanket or something. And if I did bring the phone, it would definitely die before I got home, which is even more frustrating.
the teams here and we gotta roll, so I'll talk to you all Tuesday. have a great week, pray a bunch, enjoy the guest bloggers!
Muehleisen, OUT!

Day 196
Most of you know, or have probably figured out by now that I like to have fun with my beard. I will let it grow for a few weeks, you know, to work up a good "palette", then I shave something awesome out of it. I think I may have found my next one, though I'm not sure my chest hair grows up that far. What am I talking about? This:
Scary, huh? I found it from this kinda fun site called "geekologie", which I think I told you about a few days ago, but I can't remember, and frankly, I'm too lazy to go look. But what do you think about it? Should I go for it? If not this "nip-stache", then what? Tell me what to shave and I'll give it a shot.
Ok, on to getting ready. Talk to you all later!!

Day 195 (for real)
e title of this post has to do with my ineptitude at properly naming my posts. Oh well, the "problem" has been fixed. Also, I think I have all my bloggers for the trip, I think I'll just let you all find out who they are when they post. If you signed up, you should get an email from me shortly explaining whats up.
On to the awesome. I have never been a big fan of Van Halen (Roth or Hagar or the guy from Xtreme that sang for them briefly), however, thanks again to Very Short List, I found some awesome that has to do with "Diamond" David Lee Roth.
Some of you may be familiar with "soundboards" (have I ever used "quotes" this much, I don't think so). A soundboard is where someone takes clips from a person, TV show, or anything else, and makes buttons so you can make them say funny things. Well, this one isn't really "saying" anything, but if you've heard any Van Roth, you know Diamond Dave likes to scream and make other random noises. That's what this is, mostly YYYEEEEAAAHHHHHHHs and AAAAHHHs. Pretty entertaining. Enjoy.
Know any other cool soundboards around? Let me know.
Have a great day!!!

Day 194
First part of the awesome is getting personally invited via a phone call from a 4 year old, which just melts your heart.
So I get to the party. Lots of fun of course. Kids and I get along really well (probably because I'm just a big kid). Lydia showed me her new big girl bed, Ahren and I wrestled, and a good time was had by all.
The best part was that I hit the ball out of the park with the gift. Ahren is big into football, and loves the Rams (we'll fix that), so I got a Rams football. That was good. Better was that it was in a Spider-Man bag. Best was the $.97 mouthguard, which is why Ahren has his mouth open in the picture.
Happy Birthday Ahren!!!
Hope ya'll have a splendid day!
